The White Silk 28 is a well built, family sailing cruiser with great headroom, comfortable accommodation and good sailing performance; with their shallow draft keel they are ideally suited to cruising the shoal waters of East Anglia and the Norfolk Broads.

This particular example is presented in excellent order, is well equipped and benefits from a comprehensive refit by the prestigious Landamores yard of Wroxham in 2019 with rigging replaced in 2018. Part exchange may be considered.

The accommodation offers six berths in two cabins with good headroom throughout.

Forward cabin with V berths and infill converting to a double with storage beneath. Opening hatch to foredeck. Heads compartment to starboard with Jabsco manual toilet to holding tank, washbasin with H&C pressurised water and shower. Hanging locker opposite to port. Comfortable saloon area comprising dinette to starboard side with infill cushions converting to a double. Linear galley to port comprising stainless steel sink with H&C water supply, Dometic 2 burner hob with oven and grill, Waeco 12V refrigerator and generous storage. Pull out chart table. Two quarter berths aft. Teak and Holly style cabin flooring. LED lighting to saloon. Webasto diesel fired warm air heating.

Mechanical Systems

Located abaft the companionway. Nanni 2 cylinder 14hp diesel engine. Volvo Penta Sail drive to two bladed folding propeller. (Sail drive gaiter replaced 2022) Raw water cooled. Electric start. Single lever engine controls. Flex mounts.

Built in 1995 by Martham Ferry Boatyard, Norfolk. White GRP hull and superstructure with moulded in non slip to decks and cockpit. Teak cockpit grill (2019). Cast iron shallow fin keel. Tiller steering to skeg hung rudder. White GRP internal moulding with teak internal joinery (re-varnished by Landamores in 2019). Aft self draining cockpit with seating and stowage lockers.
