Built in 1989 by Boating Scene in Essex to a design by Walsh/Wakefield Ltd. White GRP hull and superstructure with Blue style stripes. Moulded in non-slip to decks and treadmaster non-slip to cockpit. Twin keels. Tiller steering to skeg hung rudder. Aft self draining cockpit with seating and stowage under.. Self draining gas and anchor lockers. Rubbing strakes replaced 2012. Heads seacocks replaced with DZR type 2012. Antifouled April 2023.
The Mirage 2700 is a well built sailing cruiser with good performance and excellent accommodation. With twin keels and a moderate draft, they are ideally suited to the shoal waters of the East Coast.
